The Free Store is a real store. Everything is sorted, styled, and free. You walk in, you find something you love, you take it home. That is the whole idea. Reusing good clothing helps families stretch a budget, and it keeps good pieces out of the landfill.La Free Store es una tienda de verdad. Todo está clasificado, arreglado y gratis. Officially running since 2023, the Free Store has grown from earlier rooms at GHS into a full store of its own, run entirely by volunteers who believe every school should have one. These are free shopping visits, not unique people, since many shoppers return each week. Monthly and yearly figures are today's weekly range at 185 school days a year, about 37 Wednesdays. Donations keep the racks full, but people keep the store open. Help us sort and style donations, staff a Wednesday brunch shift, or work the monthly community event. Our communities are not short on clothing. They are short on ways to pass it along. The Free Store runs on reuse: good pieces get a second life instead of a landfill.A nuestras comunidades no les falta ropa. Les faltan formas de compartirla.
